Build Your Practice. Build Your Income.

It's no secret that in a crowded marketplace,
Private Practitioners with greater Online and
Community Visibility attract more clients.

Announcing the Second Annual Practice Building Virtual Conference October 25-30, 2010
PBC2010 Theme: Increasing The Visibility and Profitability of Your Therapy Business

Dear Therapist Colleagues,

For decades, Lucy Van Pelt had a very successful private practice.

She charged 5 cents for her psychiatric advice from her "psychiatric help" booth to individuals in her community - Schroeder, Sally, Snoopy and of course Charlie Brown.

What was the secret to Lucy's private practice success? It certainly wasn't her winning personality, her well-timed interventions, or even the quality or helpfulness of her advice.

"What Would Lucy Do To Build Her Practice Today?"
*Lucy Van Pelt and her world famous psychiatric help booth. Picture taken on August 24, 2005 by
Allen Timothy Chang over at the Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, Japan and wikipedia.org.

In one word: Visibly. Lucy's private practice attracted clients because her community saw her as a resource for those struggling with life, emotional and relationship issues.

As the only "psychiatric help" booth in town, it didn't take much for Lucy to be visible to potential clients. All she needed was a booth, a sign, and office hours.

What if Lucy were practicing today in this age of the internet and technology? What would she do to grow her therapy business? What would the fee be for her sessions?

What would she do if other counselors and coaches began opening their help-booths near hers?

How would she continue to ensure that her practice was a clear and obvious solution to potential clients in pain - and to referral sources that know those potential clients?

The advent of technology has created more opportunities and options for people struggling with emotional and relationship difficulties. Therapy is only one avenue to getting help - and let's face it, it isn't usually the first option potential clients will seek out. We know the self-help marketplace, charismatic motivational speakers and the internet all offer promises of hope and help for people in pain. And, of course, TV commercials from drug companies promise cures for everything from depression to social phobia with just a little pill.

We can't change the culture overnight. But we can show them there is another answer.

That answer is you.

In today's noisy, crowded, complex world, one of the biggest challenges that private practitioners face today is increasing their visibility in the marketplace.

I want to help you build a fun, sustainable and profitable business. Let's help the clients find you.

Practice Building Conference 2010
October 25-30, 2010

Hosted by Casey Truffo,
author of Be a Wealthy Therapist, and the International Therapist Leadership Institute

The 2010 Practice Building Virtual Conference is an entire conference held over the phone and internet. All you need to attend is a phone or an internet connection. Over the course of one week you will have the opportunity to listen to business presentations from over 16 business building experts sharing with you what they teach their individual clients about client attraction.

"Great Investment and Technology
Was Easy to Use!"

Thank you so much for putting on this virtual conference. I was amazed by the use of technology, it worked very well. I was also surprised by the unlikely places that I gained valuable information. I'd reviewed the schedule and marked the must listen to live and listen to later sessions. What I found is that I was finding motivation to make changes during the sessions that I didn't think applied to me. This was a very good investment for me and I am in full action with my 6 month action plan.

Kathleen Macdonald, MA, LLC

"I love listening to the Recordings On
My Schedule!"

Hi Casey and Crew!

I have downloaded the recordings from the conference and have been listening to them on my iPod while I exercise. I am so glad you presented the conference this way! I love having the recordings to listen to over and over. It did not work out for me to attend the actual sessions but I am really enjoying having the information available when it is convenient for me.
Thank you again for putting this together!
Love Light and Aloha,

Shelley Shane MA, MFT

If you’re a therapist who's dedicated to making a difference and to growing your practice, you probably know that strategic relationships are critical to your success. WIthout them, it can be challenging (if not impossible) to effectively connect with the people you're meant to serve, build a following and get your message out to the world.

Although you’re technically “connected,” you may not be connecting – or building the powerful, intentional relationships you know you need. Truth be told, most messengers and service professionals (maybe even you) don't know how to turn these potential connections into powerful partnerships and inspire those partners to promote your message and recommend your programs or services to their clients and followers.

In this powerful presentation, you will not only understand how to ignite connections with the right people, but learn how to:
  • IDENTIFY the right relationships for you - ones that will lead you to the clients you're meant to serve
  • ENGAGE with strategic partners, so they’re willing and eager to help you!
  • ENROLL collaborative partners to support your workshop launch, event promotion or campaign
  • INSPIRE individuals and groups to become life-long advocates for you and your message

Elizabeth Marshall is not only a marketing strategist and connection-maker for authors and messengers, but she's the host and founder of AuthorTeleseminars.com, the place where the best, most respected authors come to spread their message and sell their books.

She's worked with NY Times bestselling authors like Keith Ferrazzi, Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki, Dan Pink and Michael Port as well as new authors and emerging thought leaders.

Whether you're a first-time writer, an experienced author, or a developing thought leader in your area(s) of expertise, it is essential to understand the all-important interconnections between editorial and marketing, content and constituency, passion and platform.

Janet will give you expert insights and guidelines to help you:

  • Break the “trance” of the right way to publishing.
  • The lesson of “Grape Jelly” in gaining clarity—and stickiness—with your idea, and what I call your “Idea Set”
  • Empowering information about the 4 pathways--ebooks and booklets; print on demand (pod); self-publishing; traditional (major and boutique)--and concrete steps to assess options and follow through.
  • Why it’s important to Go Public before you think, and Publish later than you think—and how to think about each of these steps.
  • What “platform” really means and why it’s important to think about it as you develop your work

Did you know that about 80% of your website visitors will read your headline when visiting your website and only 20% will read anything else? What this means is that you only have a few seconds to convince your visitors that you have what they are looking for when they arrive at our website. You do this with an attention-grabbing headline. The headline is arguably the most important aspect of your website’s home page, and yet, so many therapists neglect to write a headline, and if they do, it is ineffective. In fact, some headlines actually chase clients away. This presentation will show you how to develop headlines that compel potential clients to stick around your website and discover what you have to offer, instead of clicking away to someone else’s site.

One problem with a private practice is just how private it can become. In a slow economic market, you need to be less hidden, but therapists are rightly sensitive about marketing.

The worst approach to marketing, for a service-oriented practice, is one that makes you appear promotional. This session shows you how to market within your comfort zone, to bring in clients using methods of attraction instead of “selling” yourself. You will leave knowing the best, easiest, and most relaxed actions to take to improve the health of your practice and fill it with more clients.

Lynn Grodzki, LCSW, MCC is one of the leading business coaches in the US for therapists and other service-oriented small business owners. She is the author of five books about practice-building for therapists, coaches, and consultants, all published by W.W. Norton. Her articles on practice-building appear in national magazines. She presents workshops internationally and writes a monthly email newsletter that is read by over 7000 subscribers. With Lynn’s guidance, thousands of professionals now operate small businesses that offer them a high degree of integrity as well as enhanced financial success. www.privatepracticesuccess.com

Charging money for helping people can be a very sticky topic. The people who need the help really need it, and yet you also need to be supported and do well. Is it okay to make a profit? How do you set prices so that you feel good about it, without feeling like you are abandoning your desire to be in service to people?

Plus, the big question, how can you even charge anyone anything when your best work is an inspired gift that comes through you?
We will dig into the problem with sliding scales, the concept of price resonance and a heart-centered way to approach pricing. You'll discover space in your pricing for your own needs and for your clients’.

A few years ago, marketing your private practice on the web was pretty simple, and the clients flowed in pretty easily.

Times have changed! In this presentation, we’ll look at where we are in the maturing and competitive web marketing space, and ways to stay ahead of the pack.

The clients are still out there (actually, more and more are using the web to choose their therapist) if you know what to do!

Peter Hannah, MS, MA, LMHC was a webmaster in the corporate world before becoming a private practice psychotherapist in 2003. He basically built his practice through online marketing, and has been helping other therapists market on the web since 2005 as “Your Google Guy”. www.YourGoogleGuy.com

Tired of waiting for client referrals? Wish it could be easier to market online? You are in luck! Did you know that 80% of your prospective clients are looking for you online? And that Facebook is over 500 million users? Learn how to build credibility, generate buzz about your practice, and increase revenue with social media marketing. Shama shows you how!

The Internet continues to get more pervasive in our lives as desktops, laptops and cell phones provide easy access to the web anytime, anywhere. Already, 78% of people look to online first when seeking out a professional service - and that percentage is higher with greater education and income. If you don't have a successful online presence, you could be missing opportunities for over half of your potential referrals. In this workshop Joe will discuss the key elements of creating a successful online presence to generate consistent referrals for your practice - using websites; search engine optimization; pay per click advertising; social media and video marketing.
Joe Bavonese, PhD is a Licensed Psychologist and the Director of the Relationship Institute of Royal Oak, Michigan. He is also the Co-Director of Uncommon Practices, which trains healthcare practitioners how to create their ideal practices. He is a member of the American Psychological Association. Joe is a self-taught computer and Internet expert, and has created several online webinars, included Website Success Strategies; Pay Per Click Advertising Success; and the Business of Psychotherapy: Creating Your Ideal Practice.

Everyone makes it sound so easy: increase passive income in your business by adding products. You sit down, pen in hand, or fingers on keyboard, and prepare to write the most amazing home study course for the people you serve. Then it happens, the page remains painfully blank, the computer screen starts to emit a buzz while your eyes cross staring at the backlit screen.

Why isn’t this as easy as it sounds?

The problem is in the planning. Without the right foundation for your course it is impossible to create the clear and focused course your clients need.

Jeremie’s plan is to help you plan, and get the important foundation work of your home study course prepared before that blank paper or screen ever has a chance to taunt you.

Jeremie Miller is taking a break from his current work on “Whatever it Takes: Your Masterplan to Rule the World” to present this teleseminar from his secret hideout deep in the mountains of British Columbia. Using his experience in teaching, curriculum development, and writing Jeremie is ready to take his training as a teacher and coach to the next level in helping people deliver their message to the world. www.JeremieMiller.com

If you are in private practice, you are, by nature, an Entrepreneurial Therapist. I call you a Therapreneur!(TM). You love working for yourself and choosing with whom and when you work. But as we know, being paid only when your “seat is in the therapy chair” can limit you reach and your income. In this session, we will explore additional success models including:
  • The Training Therapist
  • The Leveraged Boutique Practitioner
  • The Nonprofit Therapist Leader
  • The Author-Leader
  • The Satellite Practice Director
  • The Niched Practitioner
  • The Local (and Beyond) Therapist Thought Leader.

Casey Truffo, MFT, your host for this event is the CEO of International Therapist Leadership Institute and Be A Wealthy Therapist. Her mission is to enhance the lives and careers of therapists worldwide. She is the author of Be A Wealthy Therapist: Finally You Can Make A Living While Making a Difference, Pink Spoon Marketing for Therapists (TM) and The Entrepreneurial Therapist: Private Practice and Beyond (in press.) http://InTLI.com and http://BeAWealthyTherapist.com.

The words Therapist Leadership are lofty ones when you pause to think about it and I don't use them lightly. When we here at the International Therapist Leadership Institute host a conference, such as this Practice Building Conference, we expect it to be about leadership. The practice building expert presenters on our faculty are leaders in business building.

This is not an overstatement. You can save yourself plenty of trial and error and increase your confidence and skills if you listen and apply their ideas. They will cause you to think - they will challenge you, tickle you, and encourage you.

Here are a few of the best reasons to make sure you don't miss the Practice Building Virtual Conference:

1. You will be in the presence of the most renowned practice building coaches and experts in the world.
Never before have all these practice-building experts been together for a conference focused solely on helping you build your therapy, coaching or healing practice. Your faculty for this event have been hand-selected based on their knowledge and areas of practice building expertise. They have spent years teaching their individual clients this information. Now you can hear over 16 hours of practice building advice for less than it would cost to see most of these coaches for a single session.

2. You will gain practical information that you can implement immediately.
Each presentation will be so content-rich that you will have steps that you can get started with right away. And while building a private practice doesn’t happen overnight, you can begin implementing your marketing strategies even while you are attending the conference!

3. You can pick the brains of the experts.
Wondering about social networking? Not sure what to put on your website? Wondering what to do to revive an exiting practice? We will answer your most pressing practice building questions.

4. You will have six months to a year’s worth of ideas.
There will be a lot of information delivered at the conference. The good news is that you can implement your marketing at your own pace. You can download the recordings to your computer to listen to at your leisure. You can listen to them at our Online Conference Resource Center for up to one year. That way, you can implement one strategy at a time if you like.

5. You won't have to shut down your practice to attend.
Conferences can be expensive but they are even more expensive when you think about the time away from the office. With this conference, you can take a few hours during the day to listen live - or you can listen later when it fits into your schedule.  Bottom line - no worries about finding someone to be on call for you or leaving sessions to check your phone messages. No worry about the loss of income from attending the conference.

6. No travel or hotel costs.

7. No chance of catching a cold!

8. No chance of spending too much at the bookstore.
(Well, you may decide to buy some of the presenters' new books but at least you aren't in a bookstore with a zillion options and a warm credit card.)

9. You can attend live or you can save the recordings to listen to anytime over the next year.

Registration button

In other words, there are a lot of great reasons to attend, with these being only a few. Especially when you consider the physical CDs that come with one of the registration options, you can begin to understand the long-term benefit of this opportunity.

Even if you only think a few of the 16 presentations are immediately useful, the cost of the registration is relatively low compared to the costs you might incur if you traveled to see these presenters. This is an amazing line-up and I am very excited about our presenters and that you will have the opportunity to hear all of them for such a low investment. Because if you were to hire any one of these presenters for a one-hour consultation, it could cost you more than the tuition for the whole conference.

Questions about the Virtual Conference Format?
No problem.

Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions. Have other questions? Great! We love them. Just call 949.309.2590 or click here to send us your question.

1. When will the event be held?
The live event will have over 16 hours of content delivered over the course of one week.

The Practice Building Virtual Conference begins on Monday, October 25, 2010 and ends on Saturday, October 30, 2010. We will have 3 to 4 sessions each day (starting at 9 a.m. Pacific/noon Eastern) so you will have plenty of time to see clients, take breaks, process the information and rest. Each session is one hour long.

2. Will I be able to see the presenters? Will there be video or just audio?
Due to the fact that some participants use dial-up as their way to connect to the internet, we are choosing not to offer video this year. Maybe the technology next year will make it easier. We will have downloadable handouts for most speakers.

3. Are CEUs available?
This conference is approved for 16 hours of continuing education credit for the following:

1. California BBS for MFTs and LCSWs. Provider MFC3120.

2. NBCC, and ASWB. We have contracted with a company that will allow us to offer 16 CEUs for those who need CEUs approved by one of these associations.

(Sorry, at this conference, we are unable to offer CEUs to psychologists.)

Professional Training Associates, Ltd. is approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education activities for National Certified Counselors.

Professional Training Associates, Ltd adhere to NBCC continuing education guidelines. Provider #5916. NBCC contact hours are accepted by most states for LPCs, MFTs, and Substance Abuse Counselors. Check with your state board for approval in your location. NBCC is approved by ASWB to offer social work CEs. Provider number 1008. This workshop is also approved for CMEs for Nurses and Physicians.

Professional Training Associates, Ltd., P. O. Box 1282 Grafton, Virginia 23692, www.ptaltd.com

All states and disciplines have different CEU requirements of their providers and licensees. Please check the above to make sure it meets your requirements. If you have questions, please call us at 949.309.2590.

There is a post conference test of roughly 60 questions that you take online. As long as you pass with a passing rate of 70%, you can then print out your CEU certificate. You can re-take the quiz as many times as needed to pass. You will have up to one year to listen to the recordings and take the CEU tests online. The date of your CEU certificate will be the date you took and passed the test.

Sorry, at this conference, we are unable to offer CEUs to psychologists.

All states and disciplines have different CEU requirements of their providers and licensees. Please check the above to make sure it meets your requirements. If you have questions, please call Bob at 949.309.2590 ext 0.

We will happily provide a certificate of attendance for all attendees.

4. What is the schedule for the event?
Each day there will be 3 to 4 one-hour presentations. Presentations will be scheduled throughout the day with time in between for breaks. The specific schedule will be emailed to you upon registration. Most days, the presentation times will be;

9 a.m, noon, 1:30, 3 p.m and 5 p.m Pacific
(1:30, 3 p.m. 5 p.m and 8 p.m. Eastern)

On Monday, October 25 at noon Pacific/ 3 p.m. Eastern we will have our Conference Kickoff Celebration - a 90 minute conference call with the PBC 2010 speakers to introduce the faculty and their topics to the attendees. The Kickoff Celebration is a highlight of the conference!

5. How do I attend an "online" event? How do I 'connect' in to listen and participate?
If you have been part of a teleclass before, you will find the format similar. If not, maybe this will help. The live event is held over the phone in a conference call setting. You can also listen live over the internet if you like.

A few days before the conference you will receive an email with the conference call bridge line phone number and an access code. On the day and time of the sessions, you call the number, enter the conference access code and you will be connected to the event. You can also listen through your computer if you like or download the recordings for later listening.

6. Do I have to pay long distance charges to call in to the event?
If you choose to listen live, long distance phone charges may apply if you do not have unlimited long distance. (Unlimited long distance is now available in many areas for about USD$25 a month.)

However, if you’d like to avoid long distance charges, we have a second option. We will also send you a link that you can visit on the internet, which will give you the option to listen via your computer. (You will not be able to see the presenters but you will be able to listen live to their presentations and see their handouts/slides.)

7. What if I can’t attend the presentations?
Listening live is a great experience. But if you can’t join us, no worries. Each session will be recorded and available in two ways – either via mp3 download or via physical CDs depending on your registration preference. Within 48 hours of each presentation, the recording will be available as an mp3 download for the participants. This gives you the opportunity to use your time and energy wisely in a way that works best for you. You can also get physical CD copies of all presentations sent to your home or office by purchasing the CDs. This way you will have the audio recordings to listen to at home, work or at the gym. One clinician told me she listens while gardening!

8. What if I don’t want to attend all presentations? Can I still get CEUs for the presentations I attended or listened too later via the recordings?
There will a post conference test of roughly 60 questions that you take online which will cover all of the sessions. As long as you pass with a passing rate of 70%, you can then print out your CEU certificate. You can re-take the quiz as many times as needed to pass. You will have up to one year to listen to the recordings and take the CEU tests online. The date of your CEU certificate will be the date you took and passed the test. If you have questions about CEUs, please call us at 949.309.2590.

9. What if I have questions for the presenters?
The telephone line during the session will be muted so that we can create the highest quality audio recording for you but that doesn’t mean you can’t ask questions. Shoot them off via email (before or even during the event) and we will answer as many questions as we possibly can in the allotted timeframe. If we can’t get to your question, we will forward it to the presenter after the call.

10. What if I don’t like the presentations, can I get my money back?
We guarantee to deliver everything promised in this letter and our goal is to surpass your expectations.

If at the end of the day on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, almost halfway through the event, you aren't feeling inspired and excited about the possibilities for your private practice, you can walk away from the event and we will issue you a 100% refund.

GuaranteeYes, there is a money back guarantee.

As simple as that, just send us an email at the support email address you receive when you get your registration materials and we will happily issue a refund. After all, my mission is to enhance your personal and professional life and if this conference doesn't do it, I want you to have your money back.

11. But what if I need to cancel my registration prior to the event?
We understand that things can come up. Requests for refunds prior to the event MUST BE IN WRITING and are subject to a $45 administrative fee. Full refunds, less the service charge, will be made if the request is emailed or postmarked by October 1, 2010. Requests emailed or postmarked from October 2, 2010 - October 20, 2010 will receive a 50% refund of paid fees. No refunds after October 20, 2010. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for processing.

But what about networking with colleagues?
I know many clinicians love to connect with new and old friends at in-person events. While we can't offer you the opportunity to hug your friends in-person, we have created a few ways to network.

We will have a virtual "happy hour" during the event to process what you learned and connect with others.

We also have our Practice Building Conference (PBC2010) forums where you can meet other attendees and share your thoughts and get acquainted or reacquainted. Drop by throughout the day and chat online with other attendees. Process what you are learning with others who are enjoying the same experience - all without leaving home.

Further, we will have social networking opportunities on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn where you can share what you are learning with your colleagues.

"This Conference Was Both Accessible
and Affordable!"

Dear Casey,

What a great idea to bring together so many master therapists in a way that is both accessible and affordable for many of us. I look forward to reviewing the presentations through the coming months.

"The Speakers Delivered Excellent Content!"

I loved the ability to choose when I wanted to listen to the speakers, either live or at a later time. This gave me the flexibility to schedule my time and not miss a thing! I especially enjoyed the ability to email questions, and get an almost immediate response! I am less apt to ask questions in the large conferences, but felt comfortable in this type of forum. I also enjoyed the more personal feeling this engendered. Each speaker I listened to seemed to be able to be flexible and yet get their important points out. Congratulations on this terrific conference!

Susan Matthiessen, LCSW

"Convenient Enough for Breast-Feeding Mothers"

Last year I listened to the conference recordings at 2 a.m. while breastfeeding my new daughter. One year later and I have 20 clients in a nice 2 1/2 day practice. I will be adding another day to my practice soon!

Maggie O'Connor, MFT

To repeat, here are some of the highlights:

  • Strategies, tips and ideas from a hand-picked faculty designed to help you develop a plan top attract more clients.

  • 16+ hours of practice building strategies with these intriguing speakers.

  • Access to the audio recordings for up to one year.

  • No need to shut down your practice to attend an event.

  • No travel or hotel costs.

  • Can't make one of the sessions? No problem as recording of all sessions will be available.

  • Worried you'll miss networking? You can network online with our social networking forums. We will also have a virtual "happy hour" where you can process the information you heard.

"I Loved the Flexibility! I Rode My Horse
While I Attended!"

Unbelievably good! And, I was so energized after each presentation! Normally, in an 8-4 workshop I am COMPLETELY DRAINED!!! But, the opposite happened for me with your conference. I was able to walk around my home listening...which for me is invigorating, that I can "move" while learning. once I even rode my horse and listened and it was amazing. I knew I could go back to the audio if I needed to write something down. I will attend every year. I've told all of my colleagues about it too :)

Thank you so much for such a great event.

Lynn Hoyland, MA, LMFT

"How Wonderful That I Can Get CEUs!"

Hi Casey,

I love this Conference! Thank you for hosting this very convenient, educational, inspiring, and really diverse Conference.

I've been waking up, listening to a talk, taking lunch with another talk, my break in the afternoon gives me another opportunity to listen, and during the evenings I catch up. How wonderful that I can receive CEU's. This is so important.

The Presenters are incredible. I'm learning a ton!

Sara Bunce, MFT

Your time and energy are precious so I have taken special care to make sure this is a Rich, Rewarding and Enjoyable Experience.

Lest, I forget, you'll be in good hands with me, Casey Truffo, as your host and moderator.

In 2007, I wrote the book Be A Wealthy Therapist: Finally, You Can Make a Living While Making a Difference. My goal is to teach clinicians how to build their practices.

We must take care of ourselves financially and believe we are worthy of making a good living. We must become visible so our worldwide culture to see that there is qualified, ethical help for people who have life and relationship concerns. It is time for our profession to flourish.

It is time for therapists as business owners to flourish.

And we must start with ourselves. To that end, in 2009, I founded the Therapist Leadership Institute - an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives, careers and reputations of therapists worldwide. This conference is born of that mission.

So, what do you think? Are you in? Is it time to for your business to be come more visible? Will you join us at the 2010 Worldwide Practice Building Virtual Conference?

"This Was the Best Course I Attended!"

Dear Casey and Team,

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed and valued the virtual conference you presented. Every single speaker offered excellent information that served to open doors to new ideas or clarify old ideas. The questions you asked the presenters were ones I also needed answered. I would think it, you would say it, it was uncanny.

I hope you offer this conference again next year. Thanks so very much.

Terry Martin

A Virtual Conference That Improves Your Exercise?

Hi Casey,

I just listened to the first recording, the Kickoff Celebration, while I was doing my exercise walk. I felt so stimulated by everyone's introductions that I must tell you I ended up power-walking! Thank you.

Margo Steinfeld,
LCSW, MA, CGP

"My Husband Says Thank You - I Was Able To Do Laundry While I Listened!"

I am enjoying this conference. My husband says thank you as I have been here and able to throw in the laundry on breaks! HAHA!

Karen Page,
MFT

Even the Speakers Loved The Conference!

Thanks Casey, I love being a speaker in your conference! You combine such a variety of intelligent speakers with leading edge topics - it is a win-win for us all. I am always looking for ways to improve my practice, so the audios are extremely valuable for me.

When you look at the numbers, it really looks like a no-brainer if you are interested in this high-quality, easy-to-attend conference.

But what about the Conference Goodie Bag?

Now if you went to an in-person conference, you would receive a nice canvas "goodie bag" with the conference name printed on it. And you'd probably get some cool pens and some fliers about events and offerings in it.

But since this is a virtual conference, we'll have to use our imaginations. But the good news is that you will have access to a great selection of article and newsletter goodies provide by our faculty once you register.

Still wondering?

If you've read this far, you are probably wondering if this is for you. It is a very different way of attending a conference. And you may have concerns about the investment.

Well, even at the highest price option, the tuition is less than $30 per presenter. And then there is the online networking, a "virtual happy hour," the virtual goodie bag, and the recordings of all the presenters.

But in spite of that low number, I hope you can see that there will be great value in this virtual conference. My hope is that you will join us for this innovative and inspiring event. Be with us as we join in thought leadership for our profession with the PBC2010 - the second annual Worldwide Practice Building Virtual Conference October 25-30, 2010.
